Work highlights: 1. In 2006, researched and presented various collaboration and issue management tools. The recommended Atlassian Confluence and JIRA systems were approved and adopted to cater to the business requirements of Atos’ project and service delivery teams.
2. Installed, configured and administered JIRA and Confluence systems. This covered several Production, Test and QA instances of these systems. System administration included creating and scheduling periodic data back-up, application of security patches, database management (MySQL), and continuous liaison with Atos Network/LAN Team for system monitoring and upgrades.
3. Created custom JIRA project workflows that depict the different business processes of project and service delivery teams.
4. Created and implemented field configurations, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes in JIRA projects.
5. Created a JIRA Help Desk similar to Atlassian Support system which included automated ticket status update, custom workflow, screens, permissions and notification schemes.
6. Created and developed Confluence and JIRA technical and functional documentation, training materials and how-to’s.
7. Worked with Atos’ Legal Department in migrating content from Confluence to MS SharePoint.
8. Created and managed user accounts, including user access and permission to content in JIRA and Confluence.
9. Provided first level support to users.
