Interior Design was introduced to her by her aunt, who was a lead graphic designer at the Australian National Gallery. A deep love of architecture, design and creativity formed through this introduction and remains a huge source of inspiration in her work today. Sarah was born and raised in Australia, moved to the US at age 10 and maintains strong family ties to her homeland but identifies Chicago as her US home.
Most of Sarah’s career was spent in Chicago working for some of the industries largest interior design and architectural firms. With a background in corporate fortune 500 interior design and architecture Sarah brings a strategic, collaborative, respectful approach to all her design projects. She is most concerned with marrying both the client and architectural vision in her projects and strives to maintain a strong balance to the surrounding natural landscape. When she is not working you can find her creating black and white photography, painting mixed media art, trying out new restaurants in her neighborhood and escaping to Malibu for a restful, quiet moment at the beach with her labradoodle Louie and her two daughters.
