• Supervising, coaching, training, motivating and mentoring personnel, setting clear goals and expectations, providing relevant feedback and discipline as required
• Providing advice, guidance and support to line managers in the implementation of HR policies and procedures such as poor performance management, absenteeism, sick leave and disciplinary cases
• Identifying, acknowledging, managing, developing and fostering talent • Leading and providing expert advice and consultancy to leaders regarding the identification, development, implementation of strategic opportunities and solutions
• Establishing, implementing and overseeing effective systems, processes and controls
• Delivering a high standard of sales, administrative, marketing and financial support
• Planning and managing team performance, skills development, talent and culture to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies
• Drafting and implementing legal documentation and policies • Developing and implementing industrial relations strategies to improve workforce management and performance
• Analysing and interpreting labour laws and regulations
• Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations to management.
• Reading and interpreting technical documentation
• Performing as a strong leader of a cohesive team with strict enforcement of health, safety and statutory regulations, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements
• Managing sales assistants effectively to ensure customer growth, brand awareness and operational excellence
