The 340B Program is a federal program which provides non-profit healthcare entities the opportunity to purchase medications at cheaper costs and ensure that such entities utilize their savings to create or maintain healthcare programs that improve patient healthcare outcomes. - Assesses health systems, hospitals, and healthcare organizations' general, fiscal, and pharmacy operations, as well as 340B cost-savings opportunity quantitatively and qualitatively, as a means to analyze and optimize patient programs and medical outcomes at such entities.
- Collaborates with client leadership (i.e. hospital executive teams like the Pharmacy Director and CFO) in order to complete in-depth on-site assessments and reports.
- Travels to clients' (i.e. hospitals or healthcare organizations) throughout the country to complete the 340B assessments; specializes in working with critical access hospitals and Ryan White entities.
- Evaluates federal and state grants provided to Ryan White, STD, and federally-qualified health centers.
- Manages the timeline, work plan, data collections/analyses, report delivery, presentation(s), and technical support provided to clients, which includes collaborating with covered entity stakeholders and federal/state healthcare administrators.
- Provides strategic cost-savings and healthcare program opportunity recommendations to covered entities.
