Aug. 2012 - Feb. 20141. Handled 8 audit associates and ensure that their documentation complies with the KPMG Audit Methodology (KAM);
2. Assisted the Engagement Manager and Partner on the development of the expected scope and conduct of the audit;
3. Performed planning procedures before the actual start of the fieldwork. Those procedure includes:
a. Computation of the materiality;
b. Selection of the accounts to be audited;
c. Performance of Planning Analytical Documentation;
d. Review of the prior year audit documentation and management letter points; and
e. Directive of how we will conduct the audit for the Significant Accounts and Material but not significant accounts.
4. Schedule professional staff for the audit fieldwork and maintain liaison with the client on the timing of the engagement. Monitor the process of the engagement against expectations and keep the engagement manager and engagement partner informed of the significant variances;
5. Reviewed the Audit documentation of the staff, the income tax calculation of the client, financial statements draft and income tax return draft of the client;
6. Submitted the timely reports to International KPMG offices in Denmark, Finland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Japan and Switzerland.
7. Resolves the audit issues noted by the engagement staff during the fieldwork and discusses it with my engagement manager before we present it to the engagement partner for his approval. Once approved, I am the one who is responsible for the discussion of the resolution with the client;
8. Gains comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objective to utilize on client engagements. 9. Obtained an up-to-date knowledge on the Financial Reporting Bulletin issuances of the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission and the Revenue Regulation, Revenue Memorandum Order and Revenue Memorandum Circular issuances of the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
