A professional based in Florida, I am redirecting my career to integrate my expertise in IT and communications with the transformative potential of generative AI. Most of my career involved working on defense applications. I wrote and tested real-time weapons control systems. after that I did some freelance work with 3D—being one of the first in Brazil to work with 3D Studio—which led to two published and sold-out books on how to model and animate with 3D Studio. I also created presentations for clients using 3D with motivational soundtracks. These days I make my living doing translation work between English, Portuguese, and French. Now... AI arrived and started doing my work "free of charge" for the agencies I worked with. Seeing that I could not win any job battles against AI, I decided to become an expert and use it instead of fighting it. My ideal current role is to become instrumental in leveraging AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives. Looking ahead, I am fully committed to deepening my engagement with generative AI by exploring its applications in content creation for different industries and purposes. This involves utilizing AI tools to generate marketing materials, internal communications, and training resources, thereby streamlining workflows and fostering innovation within organizations, with the same proactive approach I used with 3D applications. My career trajectory and future plans underscore a dedication to harnessing generative AI's capabilities, positioning me at the forefront of technological advancement in my field.
