Manage a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in assessing and evaluating water use licence applications from mining and industrial, domestic, agricultural, public, and other applicants.
Make recommendations to Department regarding approval of such applications. Project and programme management in energy and water, chemicals, fertilizer, FMCG, and bottling industries
Scope of activities and responsibility varied from project to project, including:
-Manage full scope of activities on behalf of client, sponsors and stakeholders
- Identifying and understanding clients requirements, scoping and initiation of projects and final handover of operations -Turnkey projects: design, manufacture, install/construct, and commission production plant.
-Project Capex costing and financial analysis of returns. Consulting/Specialist studies:
-Feasibility studies, for example the re-engineering of manufacturing operation, ie from production plant through to manning and financial aspects.
-Usage variance studies: entailed production process accounting, assessing process losses, making recommendations wrt upgrades and BOMs, etc.
-Legal (specialist) evaluation of Consultant’s advice pertaining to production losses.
- Process Plant risk, eg HAZOP studies. Training: -Development of Risk Management and Safety courses for client.
-Training of client candidates.
