Jun. 2016 - Apr. 2019Carlisle Barracks• Revised and improved an outdated program for the U.S. Army War College’s (USAWC) International Fellows (IF), which included approximately 80 military officers annually from around the world. • Ensured that all international officers, and their families when accompanied, were integrated into the War College and local communities through assistance with everyday tasks such as starting utilities to ensuring that each officer was registered and prepared to start a Masters level graduate program. • Fostered close working relationships with Security Assistance Training Field Agency (SATFA) Country Program Officers, Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DCSA) country desk officers, and 80 Security Cooperation Officers (SCOs)/Foreign Nationals in U.S. embassies around the world to ensure that U.S. national security objectives were met through effective use of International Military Education and Training (IMET) funds, Foreign Military Financing (FMF), national funds, and other U.S. grant funds supporting international training. • Represented the two-star Commandant of the USAWC at annual Security Education and Training Working Groups (SCETWG) at Geographic Combatant Commands in order to match the engagement priorities of the U.S. Army with the Theater Security Cooperation objectives of the Theater Commander. • Developed an excel database of information to account for and track IF programs, funding, execution and planning to ensure that War College sponsored travel to Combatant Commands in Florida, Hawaii and Colorado, as well as to academic institutions such as Carnegie-Melon, West Point and University of California: San Diego, and to visit private industry, all in an effort to round out the international officers’ experience in the United States.
