This required the management of multiple teams in a variety of disciplines and locations, including Managed Hosting, Application, Web Design & Development, Testing as well as the Deployment Team, coordinating their efforts and that of the client resources. I also oversaw (at a high level) the resolution and deployment of Support Releases and Patches, with a view to integrate these into project timelines for minimal impact and maximum benefit. It was also within my remit to work with the Client Account Manager to develop a strategic plan alongside the client for future developments, to keep ahead of the competitive curve, plan expenditure and feedback to the Head of Application Development to structure the direction of the platform. Fresca (now APTOS) operated as a subsidiary of BT, offering us some freedom of movement as an Enterprise entity while functioning within the larger BT framework which required observing some technical protocols and operational processes.
