Bremont Watch CompanyStock Assistant
Dec. 2017 - Jun. 2019Henley-on-Thames, England, United KingdomFrom December 2017 to January 2018 I worked in the stock department developing a new system for the storage of unassembled pieces to gain tighter control of stocks and more efficient assembly. In January of 2018 I left to travel through Central and South America, having raised funds for the previous 5 months working at Tesco and Bremont. I returned to Bremont in July 2018 until September 2018. I worked in the stock department helping with the initial stages of the watchmaking. I prepared kits of unassembled pieces for the watchmakers and replaced faulty parts. Working in the new system I had helped develop, I used the SAGE programme to keep track of stock levels and in this time assisted in cutting the costs of production by reducing the waste of unassembled parts. In September of 2018 I left Bremont to begin my first year of University at the University of Bristol. Following the end of my first year at university, I returned to my role at Bremont in June of 2019.
