The first job that I worked was an internship at Aura Esports, a Mobile Legends esports team based in Indonesia who was recently acquired by Team Liquid and recently rebranded as Team Liquid ID. At Aura Esports, I worked as a social media intern, providing ideas for social media posts and updated jersey designs which would later be realized as actual merch that would be sold to fans. Cultivating an open and welcoming community is something that I’ve always strived for. My time at Aura Esports taught me the ins and outs of an esports organization and how to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. During my time at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I was an officer at SCAD Gaming and helped organize events, participated in community game nights and forged a partnership with Redbull Gaming’s Collegiate Program to get our college events sponsored. This allowed me to gain experience in communicating with established brands and the processes required in securing sponsorships for events. I’ve most recently been working as a content writer at Tristen William, where I have written all the primary information on the website and assisted with creating the names of the various product lines on the company website. Through this job, I’ve learned how to work alongside a team and coordinate with people based in different regions, as well as learning how to organize and manage long-term projects.
