Aug. 2021 - Aug. 2022Role as BCBA supervising home programmes involved: -Conducting functional behaviour assessments to determine the function of behaviours of concern, identifying an appropriate replacement behaviour and writing and supervising the implementation of a subsequent behaviour intervention plan(s). -Conducting skills assessments with a view to creating an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for the client (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions) predominantly using the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program and Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (and reassessing to measure progress every 6 months). -Monitoring client progression through continuous graphing and data analysis
-Scripting and conducting parent, teacher and staff training in relevant programmes and behaviour intervention strategies
-Creating ongoing data collection systems that establish a baseline and provide basis for measuring programme efficacy for all client’s
-Analysing data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming
-Consulting and collaborating with families, schools, preschools, medical professionals, and other therapeutic disciplines
-Meeting with families, teachers and other professionals to discuss the child’s treatment and progress and recommend ways to address behavioural issues
-Continuous and stringent adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behaviour Analysts
