I was then asked to head up the Feasibility and Technology Squad investigating home lending inside the partners (Business lending) network, before merging this squad with another one to form a runway / delivery squad which I took up the lead on. Responsibilities include the mapping and delivery planning of major strageic initiatives through various iterations and development to ensure delivery of these happens in line with our wider objectives.

Having a rapid learning curve in my first 18 months, I was promoted over the top of the Operations Manager into a new position for the company of General Manager. This role takes a top down view of the company including strategic planning and direction, corporate performance management, operational effectiveness, corporate leadership, health and safety, and staff development. This is coupled by the continued business development activities, including representing the company on an international scale. In my time in this role I have successfully redesigned the operational methodology to meet efficiency standards to increase market share, increased a return on EBIT by 40% year on year as well as creating a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment.
