Together we brought DIRECTV's first iOS, Android, and Blackberry apps to market for our Entertainment and NFL Sunday Ticket experiences as well as many others. • Built a quality assurance team from scratch to address continued development on mobile platforms under constant rapid change.
• Managed resource planning, cost center management, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and feature roadmap for over 100 employees, contractors, and their projects.
• Developed several processes to streamline release management and systems integration
• Over three years, hired and maintained a team of both staff and contingent labor, negotiated rates, and trained new team members to take on mobile and web QA, Project and Release management, data analytics, and procurement.
• Together we delivered, the first DIRECTV iPad app, the first DIRECTV streaming apps, and year over year improvements to the NFL Sunday Ticket Apps.
• Successfully facilitated delivery of native iOS, Android, and Blackberry apps for the DVR Scheduler and NFL Sunday Ticket streaming apps
• Following a reorganization of senior leadership and their dependant organizations, successfully remapped the iterative release and testing process to align with the new responsibilities of the corresponding organizations.
• Aligned business owner requests for product features with labor costs, pipeline priorities, and related dependencies.
• Held stakeholders and contributing team members from related matrixed organizations accountable for schedule impacting deliveries.
• Managed delivery of software projects by outsourced vendors both on and off-shore
