I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and have over 16 years of field experience (External Audit (3years) and Forensic Consulting (13years)), dealing with fraud investigations, risk identification, risk control (preventative and responsive), data analysis, accounting training, account analysis and seeing fraud cases through up to the trial phase. I have managed and, in some instances, was one of the team members. I have been involved in or managed each phase of internal or external investigation. The phases include (but not limited, depending on the nature of the project) the following: • Understanding the requirements and/or issue • Identifying areas requiring detailed investigation. • Gathering of information, data or interviews. • Analysis of information/data obtained and performing field work. • Drafting of report with exhibits. • Legal action support (if and where needed). I have worked on a number of high-profile cases in South Africa and abroad. In some instances, I was the Project Manager in charge for a number of these projects. I have experience in managing large number of team members. I am also a team player and believe in creating an atmosphere of inclusion and belonging.
