Coordinated disaster councils in each of the seven West Marin communities (Stinson Beach, Bolinas, Point Reyes Station, Inverness, San Geronimo Valley, Nicasio, and Tomales). Recruited, trained, and managed volunteers.
Responsible for fundraising and securing grants through county and federal funding, and the public-at-large, for equipment and public education on disaster preparedness. Responsible for grant tracking and donor acknowledgement. Designed, promoted, coordinated and presented trainings to the public and disaster council volunteers on disaster preparedness.
Acted as liaison between the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the Marin Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services, West Marin Fire Department Captains, disaster council volunteers, and the American Red Cross.
