Apr. 1997 - Dec. 2007Engineered a leveraged buyout of the Terrazzo Division of Master Builders Technologies - a global construction materials firm. Directed all administrative, technical, operational, and financial aspects of the business on a day-to-day basis. Initial achievements included the relocation of all manufacturing equipment, construction and startup of a new production facility. Responsible for all financial affairs of the Company, including planning, management, reporting, and Trusteeship of the Company 401(k) plan. In 1997, sales were $1.0 Million. By 2004, achieved sales of $7.5 Million. Terrazzo is a decorative architectural hard surface flooring material. Examples of MTT's installations may be seen at many airports, including the Philadephia, Richmond, Dallas-Fort Worth and Tampa Facilites, corporate facilities such as Comcast World Headquarters in Philadelphia, Time-Warner Center in NYC, public buildings such as Huntsman Hall at the University of Pennsylvania, the Los Angeles Sports Arena, and The Pentagon. In December, 2007, completed the sale of Master Terrazzo to a larger and more diversified company involved in the production and marketing of related product lines.
