Apr. 2017 - Jul. 2017La Jolla, CAWith supervision of the Director of Academic Enrichment Programs (AEP), manage all administrative operations of AEP, oversee the facilities, and play a key role in program coordination and student staff supervision. Incumbent will provide responsive management of the Director’s workload and schedule; maintaining calendar, researching and preparing back-up materials, coordinating meetings and travel. Provide day to day administration of AEP operations including front desk operations, facility usage, and requests for information and referrals. Develop, analyze, interpret, and implement policies and procedures connected to the operations of AEP. Interact with UC San Diego students, staff, faculty, and community members on behalf of AEP. Work with technical support staff on the development and maintenance of AEP databases, listservs, and website. Compile and analyze data to prepare reports connected to the operations, programs and special events of AEP. Provide training and work direction for student staff. Play a pivotal role in program coordination, with particular emphasis on staff, faculty and community programming. Administer programs with a focus on students, parents and families. Incumbent is responsible for all administrative activities to include special events (workshops, conferences, fundraising) editing program materials, meetings management, web research, outreach, catering and travel. Work with AEP staff on assessment of overall program offerings. Act as liaison with Experiential Learning Business Office on fiscal, payroll, personnel and timekeeping processes. Represent AEP on campus- wide committees and at outreach events.
