As of December 9th 2002, returned as one of only three of the original 16 editors to supervise and train a new staff of 17. The College Board’s annual surveys are considered the best in the country and its data has appeared in USA Today, The New York Times and on CNN. Cost data collected appears annually in The Chronicle of Education’s cost issue. Responsibilities included editing surveys and pursuing data for the colleges listed under Alabama, Bolivia, Maryland, Minnesota, South Dakota and the United Kingdom; later took responsibility for Mexico, New Mexico, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, Washington and California. Checking, entering and analyzing data in the College Board’s internal database system, as well as using Access to run queries to check for errors and examine trends. Layout and page proofing of the College Board’s International Student Handbook, Cost and Scholarship Handbook as well as the Undergraduate Handbook. New responsibilities as Supervisor included running weekly in-service meetings, training and overseeing the work of 17 editors in addition to editing and proof-reading responsibilities above.
