I had two roles within this company: Role 1: - Working in the civil construction division, I was responsible for a market that covered a few states, and searching for the plans and specs for all jobs already loaded onto the company's platform within those states. The company's software allowed me to maintain a task list and set follow-up dates, and I followed up on each project until I procured the plans and specs for each project and had them uploaded to our company's platform. - My management team was very satisfied with my performance in this job. I was able to secure plans and specs for certain large city municipalities that had, in the past, refused to work with our company. This added a lot of value to the company's subscribing clients in that region of the country. Role 2: - I was switched over to the role of searching for the projects that were coming up for bid. The company provided me with a list of websites that were searched every day, websites that posted upcoming projects for bid. I would read the description of the project and decide whether it was relevant and suitable for adding to the company's platform.
