Feb. 2023Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area• Monitor on-duty operations to ensure compliance with established policies/procedures and readiness in providing the highest possible level of service to the public and internal department support. • Serve as a role model and coach to ensure all team members actions and behaviors demonstrate the ECC values of honesty, respect, professionalism, and teamwork. • Demonstrate comprehension and application of confidentiality/ethical behavior, rules, and policies. • Exercise supervisory authority in accordance with MAC policies and procedures. • Communicate clear performance expectations and standards to department employees. • Coach, reward, and discipline employees as needed, deserved, or required. • Provide timely performance feedback through coaching, mentoring and completing annual performance recaps for reporting staff. • Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships • Accountable for ensuring the highest level of professional service and support to every customer. • Assist with training and staff development. • Establish personal development objectives that align with department values and job functions. • Respond to inquiries and complaints. • Collaborate with partners to promote the exchange of information.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies and identifies the need for recommending policy or procedural changes. • Analyze performance of staff, written guidelines, policies, and procedures. Make recommendations for improvement. • Responsible for department scheduling including daily work, overtime, and time off requests. • Provide budget input. • Utilize data and metrics to anticipate potential concerns and trends and make decisions based on fact.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of ECC systems and equipment; assist in the diagnosis of system deficiencies and recommend equipment repairs and/or revisions. • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the tools, equipment, and technology of the equipment in the ECC.
