My experience spans international law, foreign investment, international arbitration, and administrative law, including regulatory affairs in the energy and environmental sectors. Throughout my career, I’ve served both in private practice and in senior public sector roles, where I was responsible for coordinating international cooperation strategies, negotiating legal instruments, and representing the State before international tribunals and a national regulatory agency in global forums. This dual perspective has enhanced my ability to navigate complex legal and institutional frameworks across diverse matters—ranging from real estate to telecommunications. I am also an active member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), North America Branch, where I currently serve as Secretary of the Board of Directors and as a member of the Communications Committee. My work with CIArb reflects my ongoing commitment to promoting best practices in arbitration and contributing to the evolution of the field. In parallel, I teach at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), sharing with students the practical and theoretical insights I have gained through my academic and professional path.
