Tracking existing projects and liaising with suppliers, contractors and project teams to ensure delivery in accordance with departmental schedules and business requirements, including re-prioritisation where required.
Supervising the work of the IT Administrator and acting as a central reference point for all department administrative matters. Key achievements:
• Delivered phase one of an implementation of LANDESK Service Delivery Management tool which included ITIL-compliant Incident, Request and Identity Management processes to streamline IT support provision and ease the audit process. • Prepared and delivered project documentation ready to go out to tender for a complex modernisation of our 50+ fleet of trucks all in various stages of standardisation.
• Delivered WAN link upgrades to Fibre-to-the-premises across a dozen static scanning sites and produced planning and costing for Fibre-to-the-cabinet upgrades to 30 further sites.
• Delivered upgrade of company mobile device fleet from out-dated Blackberry technology to Windows Phones.
• Delivered internal administrative aspects of several new site roll-outs.
• Delivered full procurement and deployment of equipment (including mobile communications) for 10 new mobile diagnostic scanning units.
