Director, Implementation Services Direct and coordinate the development of the Project / MAC Implementation team within the KPIT organization, accountable for planning projects and executing delivery within the Kaiser Infrastructure including Health Connect, the KP version of EPIC Healthcare software, including the billing, scheduling, inpatient, outpatient and AMR modules of the application. Developed a communication / working plan between the Implementation Services Team and the PMO (Project Management Office) to Categorize, Prioritize, and validate funding for all projects in the work queue, thus reducing queue size by 50% and implementation time by 25% for funded projects.
Built an enterprise wide change management team from resources within the various KP regions, that led to a 35% reduction in Change Induced Incidences (Failed Changes), implementation of a Change Management Training Program, and the creation of a Change Management Dashboard / Scorecard for the Weekly / Monthly measurement of change health.
Developed a Contractor / Vendor Utilization tracking mechanism to accurately track resources and financials of the non regular Kaiser staff. This resulted in a 75% improvement in the accuracy of the Vendor contract data, along with a savings of 20% to the overall cost of Contractor Support to KPIT. Reorganized and supplemented an existing workforce of implementation services (Wintel, Citrix and UNIX) technicians to more efficiently deliver continuing rollout of the EPIC / Healthcare solution to the Kaiser Customer. Realignments increased productivity by approximately 35% in the areas of Citrix Deployments and Wintel Rollouts & Refreshes.
Initiated Cross Functional leadership and individual contributor meetings to enhance project delivery across the KPIT organization.
