Specialised in Old Masters I manage the selling and the buying activity for Old Masters Sales, Private Sales and Bankruptcy Sales. I manage the portfolio of buyers and sellers, working closely with the authorities of the Italian State as well. Responsabile with the catalogue production (catalogue entries, researching, catalogue entries, liaising with the World Wide experts, Foundations, museum for attributions)
Lead and manage the Sale Department; Develop relationships with existing and new clients, and extending relationships; Networking at the National and International Art Fairs; Planning, organising, presenting and marketing exhibitions and auctions, including public relations; Responsible for recruiting, training and managing Sale Coordination and Intern staff; Work with Specialists to ensure cataloguers are working effectively across the sales; Lead the relationship with marketing for lot-specific marketing and general sale marketing; Inventory control: proactively work with Specialists, Sale Coordinators and Logistics; Act to resolve client and partner department issues; Maintain relationships with the main auctions house and galleries business partners; Management of the bids and registration processes for all auctions, including commission, telephone and online bidding; Ensure the whole team, including self, are trained in telephone bidding and can support sales;
