• Meet with business units to develop discovery documents which help development of recommendations such as form creations, workflows and updates to sites that will improve business processes
• Collect information to assist in the development of technology plans and strategies
• Work with development team to provide input and run user experience tests to improve the customer’s experience with school-wide applications that support teaching
• Product owner of SeatGEN, a student seating chart application used by faculty and staff
• Build and maintain relationships with research students and professors to ensure satisfaction and continued support of the Behavioral Lab
• Responsible for student recruitment for research participation via classroom presentations and one-on-one recruitment • Maintain the research database, renew and improve it from time to time and ensure safe storage of data
• Arrange analysis reports and be accountable to answer any queries, complaints or proposal
• Gather data necessary to accomplish analysis from a number of sources, accumulate it together in prearranged format and enter the data in several data analysis software
• Speak at events within the community to discuss the importance of my role in IT and recruit new IT students
• Coordinate activities associated with all aspects of research projects
• Ensure policy adherence and IRB compliance within the Behavioral Lab
• Triage IT tickets and ensure incidents get completed in a timely manner
• Act as a liaison between faculty/staff and IT members to ensure requests are being completed
• Attend meetings and review submissions to the Emory University IRB for approval to run studies
• Received an award “Helping IT Succeed (hITs)” voted on by co-workers for my work in the department within 6 months of being hired
