Some of our clients have a life-threatening or terminal illness, such as cancer. All of these people have one uniting factor - music dramatically improves their quality of life. My role was responsible for designing, developing, implementing and managing brand new, more sustainable fundraising programs and income streams at Nordoff Robbins. This included legacy giving, in memoriam giving, appeals, in celebration giving and regular giving. Nordoff Robbins traditionally raised much of its income through events. My role was to develop longer term, less risk sources of incomes from individuals but focusing on relationship management and business development with our large network of high net worth individuals (many senior figures in the music industry) who traditionally supported a calendar of highly produced events.
