Apr. 2013 - Jan. 2014East LondonEW Agency was founded in 2001 (under the original name edsonwilliams Agency) by Edson Williams. He began his career in the advertising department at Nike Europe, progressing to co-found the image design department as Art Director. During this time he worked on countless stills and ad shoots, collaborating with a multitude of inspiring photographers and directors. When he left Nike it was a love of photography that prompted his move into representing photographers and setting up his own photographers agency. We currently look after 6 photographers – Andrea Klarin, Alessandro Falco, Achim Lippoth, Claudia Mozzillo, Giles Duley and Paul Barbera- and 2 illustrators – Denise van Leeuwen and Eiko Ojala. There is a mixture of style and experience, which is what is so exciting, no one’s work looks the same and each artist has something different to offer our clients. Central to EW Agency is a love of talent, creative talent especially. Everything around us is created by somebody, whether it’s visual or audiovisual, and if it entertains, inspires or challenges you, taking time to appreciate that is very important. At the agency we want to celebrate and share these creations and the people behind them. Our ethos is to continue inspiring our clients with new and diverse talent, and to help those artists become successful as well as creatively fulfilled.
