⮚ Responsible for health, welfare, morale, and discipline of assigned medical personnel for the District of Columbia National Guard. ⮚ Maintain credentials for Sexual Assault Prevention and Response, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST). ⮚ Plan, operate, and supervise both international and national training missions supporting diverse parties to include Indian Health Services, Jamaican Defense Ministry and various African countries. ⮚ Responsible for establishing a command climate for the command, preparing the unit for operations, directing them during operations, and continually assessing subordinates.
⮚ Retained comprehensive responsibility for the conduct, efficiency, effectiveness, and health and welfare of all the forces entrusted to the unit. ⮚ Managed and supervised Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, to include Special Emphasis Programs, for the entire unit. ⮚ Conducted planning meetings with staff to consolidate, integrate, and coordinate efforts to enhance service delivery to customers. ⮚ Trained in healthcare planning and policy, health systems management, emergency management and disaster preparedness. ⮚ Basic Officer Leadership Course 1, FT Lewis, WA - Assessed as an overall "Excellent" in both the Garrison and Field environments.
