● Certification of Food Safety management system, I could lead and achieve certifications with my team in ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Kosher, HACCP, and RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil).
● Analyze and investigate product complaints or client claims to assure closure in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements. This way we diminished the number of complaints from 17 to 1 per year.
● Laboratory leader and hands-on duties if needed, this way our team implemented a new technology (NIR) in 2010 in order to change some old techniques into new ones, this way we could save at least US$100.000 per year in chemical reagents.
● Leader of Quality and Food Safety, OSHAS, Environment, Energy, and Sustainability committees; producing in those at least 80% of business improvement initiatives, this way the continuous improvement of plant KPIs and OPEX (5% per year).
● Identify training and development opportunities within the team and department, create plans to close gaps, and ensure transfer of training, this way I provided training and support to the Quality Assurance technicians, production workers, and sales team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes, I trained more than 80 people.
● Liaise with the Corporate group regarding complaints related to product quality and technology initiatives with product, processes, insights, and analysis. ● Serve as the principal contact with outside agencies, quality audit organizations, customer, and supplier quality departments.
