• Participate in meetings with client/ crew, establish production schedule of departmental requirements and obligations.
• Setup, operate and maintain working knowledge of current audio/video capture equipment and video editing hardware/software.
• Interact directly with subject(s) in such a way to facilitate useful, informative and educational content, captured clearly, efficiently and artistically.
• Retention, management and delivery of collected footage and data.
• Maintain and manage video equipment, including timely completion of check-out/in hand receipts, shipping labels, and (if needed) repair/expendable reports.
• Determine audio and visual elements (soundtrack, effects, graphic elements and transitions)
• Utilize proficient storytelling techniques and knowledge of technical editing procedure to craft raw footage into an linear, engaging, educational and informative narrative, meeting requirements as pre-determined by client or determined “in-process” based on specific content or subject matter.
• Distribute product/elements to applicable members of production team for completion.
• Supervising the timely completion of post-production process elements such as edit, sound design, graphics, color timing and specifically formatted delivery.
• Submit product for approval, receive and apply desired changes.
