Oct. 2011 - Aug. 2013South PerthManage the migration of Finance modules for DAFWA & related entities (AP, AR, Assets, Project Management, Cash Management, Procurement, Budgeting, Reporting, Taxation and General Ledger functionality) out of Oracle e-Business Suite v11i into Oracle R12 by 1 July 2013. Responsibilities include:
-Provision of process analysis on the transition and subsequent use of the new FMS Financial business processes
-Identifying process change impacts to clarify and further define changes to user roles
-Analysis of Financial business processes and identifies and information system gaps to assist in the transition
-Work directly with functional and technical staff to ensure the setup and implementation of the applications within the defined FMS business processes
-Provision of guidance to, and working directly with Organisation Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure completion of project deliverables within the defined business processes
-Development of Chart of Account Best Practice Framework
-Manage data cleansing and mapping of data from current systems, in addition to data reconciliation and workflow validation. -Manage Data Migration Process
-Creation, mapping and adoption of, the new FMS Chart of Accounts structure
-Analysis and adoption of Business Intelligence tools to assist in organisation reporting at executive, operational, statutory and management level (OBIEE, Oracle Discoverer, BI Apps, Standard Reporting)
-Assist in delivery of end user training. -Provide end user support. -Assist in high level communication of project objectives to staff at all levels to ensure a clear understanding of planned changes
-Preparation/Delivery of Project Status Reports, Steering Committee and Executive Papers
-Establish and manage effective working relationships and networks to achieve positive outcomes. -Assist in Business Process Reengineering for the newly created Entities
