1. Data Migration Work Stream
- Leading the analysis on the data migration projects, whereby MultiChoice is migration all 50 countries to the new upgraded ICX billing system
- Responsible for all data mapping of the old system to the new system
- Utilising SQL to query the databases, to ensure all data is accurate and fix incorrect data mappings
- Participating in migration rehearsal dry runs, compiling releases for the dry run to proceed
- Conducting detailed analysis to identify issues and billing differences in migrated data between the legacy system and new system
- Participating in actual migrations from the legacy system to new system
- Providing support to the MultiChoice migration team 2. Business As Usual Work Stream:
- Liaising with stakeholders to elicit and manage business requirements, during workshops
- Guiding the documentation of business requirements specifications (BRS)
- Converting the BRS into Business Needs Documents, utilising Agile methodology
- Communicating and collaborating with MultiChoice stakeholders and the HansenCX development teams in the design and development of flexible and awesome solutions
- Assist MultiChoice users with testing (configuration and UAT)
- Providing first line support to Multichoice users

The programme involves increasing the MTN footprint by enhancing its points of presence within the South African market. MTN has embarked on a massive rollout of MTN branded stores that will allow the company to gain market share and increase its offering to all segments within the South African market. Mahendra completed a few projects and produced Requirements Definition Specifications for the Development of a Commissions Model for Sales Agents and the Establishment of a Project Interim Financial Reporting Tool for the Branded Channel department. He was last engaged in the Oracle 360 Store Enablement project. This project saw the deployment of a new point of sale solution for all MTN owned and franchised stores.
