In addition to developing the organisational and editorial vision mission and goals, buyer personas and the content strategy, I was responsible for managing both the editorial teamโ€™s people and budget. I improved content creation abilities through developing and implementing streamlined workflow processes. I shifted our approach to content to one that is grounded in SEO to improve website health and increase visibility to potential readers. In addition to this, I developed optimised content templates to improve the user experience and boost engagement metrics. To ensure that the efficacy of this new content could be gauged, I also set up reporting and analytics structures. Managing client-focused projects โ€“ including pitch, budget and timeline development, as well as workflow management โ€“ I oversaw the production of more than 150 pieces of advertorial content. Our clients included Japan Airlines, Delta Airlines, Banff & Lake Louise Tourism and others.
