Key Achievements: • Lead the development of an eTLA approach to teaching mathematics during the first and third lockdowns to improve the well-being of both staff and students. Ensure a balance of synchronous and asynchronous lessons to reduce screen time and improve remote teaching and learning. • Designing schemes of work for GCSE mathematics as well as the 5 levels of Functional Skills. The GCSE Scheme covers a full range of abilities from grades 1 to 9, so students can progress to T-Levels and transition programmes at the college without being capped at a grade 4/5. • Designed and led the GCSE grading system for 2020 (and co-designed for 2021) during the pandemic and ensured a robust quality assurance checking mechanism to ensure the reliability and validity of the grades awarded.
