Responsible for Financial Control of Operations in the Americas region for 5 plants in Brazil, USA, Mexico and Australia; responsible for links with plant controllers in periodical consolidation of analyses and reports. • Management of annual budgetary planning for the Americas Operations area including the 5 plants, ensuring schedule compliance by accompanying cost executions (actual x budgeted), analyzing cost and production-volume variations. • Activity as Business Partner for the Regional CFO contributing to AOP evolution, execution and delivery. Financial support for strategic and operational decision-making in the Americas Region.
• Active financial support for the Strategic Planning process, developing financial models and multiple scenarios for business and special project opportunities.
• Key-Member of the management team, implementing business practices with financial impact, such as improvement incentive programs and other initiatives that drive sustainable business. • Work with production areas in seeking process loss reduction, providing information and analyses comparing losses among factories and at headquarters, reducing waste through the PDCA continuous improvement cycle.
• Analysis of major business projects in preventive and challenging scenarios to optimize business performance. • Activity in standardization and automation initiatives, spearheading efforts to implement local and global best practices, delivering analyses and adding value to the business with agility, innovation, and intellectual curiosity challenging the status quo.
• I challenge the premises utilized in cost studies, compared to more efficient production practices with a view to reducing final product costs. Studies in financial feasibility of investments.
