Born on April 7, 1985, in Cyprus, Fehmi Öztürk is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and visual storyteller. After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University’s Film and Television program in 2007, Fehmi worked on acclaimed TV series like Yasak Elma and Bizim Hikaye before directing shows such as Çatı Katı Aşk and Cam Tavanlar. Fehmi wrote and directed the internationally recognized short films Free Fun and Bir Annenin Sonatı, and served as a producer and production designer on three short films and one feature film, including their own works. Known for blending layered storytelling with innovative production design, Fehmi explores themes of identity and human behavior across their projects.
