After 25 years as an English teacher in Brazil, I became a freelance translator. I have a degree in Translation Studies, and I have a passion for translation, localization, subtitling, and interpretation. I am a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese a fluent user/speaker of English. I have CEFR C2 level certification – Cambridge Proficiency. I understand that translation involves much more than words in a different language, therefore, I always work bearing in mind the cultural aspects of the source and target languages I work with.
