I interviewed dozens of amazing local business leaders and phenomenal non-profits. I served as magazine editor and primary writer using ARC content management platform to produce a monthly magazine distributed along the Emerald Coast. This position was both enjoyable and challenging.

The chapel dates back to 1893 and is still in use today. Over time, the campus has slowly expanded to provide a home to growing local ministries. By the time I arrived in 2021, there was a fellowship hall, a modernized office area, and a preschool. The facilities were also used to host a medical clinic serving the local area. Across the street was a 16,000 square foot, multi-use facility including classrooms, a gym, a stage, and a commercial-grade kitchen. I was responsible for all sorts of hands-on maintenance - plumbing repairs, small carpentry projects, pressure washing, pump repairs, etc. Also, I interfaced with specialty vendors who took care of fire prevention systems, painting, grounds maintenance, and other contracted services. I worked in coordination with the pastor, staff, trustees, and church members to understand and meet the needs of the church buildings, grounds, and vehicles on a day to day basis and for years to come. Some of the greater challenges we met were completing a reserve study and navigating the changing insurance landscape in Florida. We also completed a remodeling project.

I worked under the direction of an Army O-6. I identified $200,000 in additional funding through budget review and brought "more transparency to the budgeting process than ever before”.

This team of support personnel took 3 of the 5 commander's annual awards, standing out in a group of pilots, air battle managers, etc. During this time, I attended Cyber 200, Squadron Officer School (SOS), received operator and systems administrator training on six C2 applications. For the Hawaii Air National Guard's Marksmanship team, I arranged for travel, safety and weapons accountability for off-island shooting competitions.
