When I was the Interim ED for CFSSWM I was also the Acting ED for the Safe Shelter.

The agency was funded through grants, contracts, donations & fund raising. I was recruited to this position as an Associate Director who could step-in to transition the agency through a leadership change. I also was the acting ED for a domestic violence shelter that was merging with CFS. I was directing the merger at the board & operational levels & leading a building project for a new DV shelter. As ED I served on two county Human Services Coordinating Counsels and various other local government committees. Once this transition was established, the agency Board of Directors hired a new ED & I transitioned him in. The last several months of this position I contracted with the agency as a licensing consultant and Chief Administrator for their licensed residential programs. I left this position for the Whaley opportunity.

I supervised Program Directors and clinical staff (therapists, behaviorists, nurses and doctors). Recruited professional medical and psychiatric staff. Operationalized a $25 Million dollar budget through P&L administration. I was a member of the agency leadership team, and the agency Business Management team. I also served on several county service provider teams and was the agency liaison for several county Community Mental Health authorities. I also directed the affiliates Cultural Competency Committee and led the cultural diversity effort for 300+ staff. I was laid off from this position in a corporate restructure.
