Client: South 32 Role responsibilities:
• Visibly lead safe behavior, coaching workers in safe behaviors and routines aligned to MHSA and ISO standards, including Workplace Interactions, TAKE5s and control management activities
• Develop and manage the strategic asset management plan (SAMP)
• Development of Asset Strategy & Reliability policies using (RCA, FMEA etc.) programs
• Attended investigations and conducted root cause analysis (RCA) for new failure modes identified on critical equipment, develop action lists, and ensured agreed actions were implemented.
• Perform complex reliability analysis, including reliability block diagram, LCC and others to execute improvements
• Improve reliability utilizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/CMMS or paper-based systems
• Support the completion of the Maintenance Readiness elements in alignment with the project plan
• Identify process gaps and/or improvements that will sustain asset management practices
• Priorities problems and/or improvements based on data
• Assess project outputs for compliance with the South32 Framework and other applicable standards
• Provide direction and participate in new equipment specifications
• Act as Reliability (Asset Management) representative in the asset design review sessions for the Reliability and Availability topics
• Manage the Equipment Criticality Assessment program to ensure it is carried out and implemented
• Ensured ‘continuous improvement’ of new/optimized tactics by reviewing work order history and where recommend changes were identified.
• Report and present all critical findings to management.
• Act as Reliability (Asset Management) representative in Handover activities for new assets
