I oversaw design and execution phases of prospect development, including system selection, FEED, and specialist troubleshooting support for existing production assets. I managed all aspects of compliance, specifications, system analysis, programming, and safety for the Ozona Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU).
Highlights of accomplishment in this role include:
➙I minimized project costs for the Ozona HCU by 18% by completing production and testing 10 months ahead of schedule as well as eliminating preventable upgrades.
➙I achieved 100% functionality testing for all safety components and outperformed the previous version's 11% functionality test by designing the Hydraulic Control Unit Function Test Procedure.
➙I improved testing scope from 17 to 128 combinations and achieved a 650% increase in thoroughness by enhancing safety software rigor, including adding 111 lines of Shutdown Criteria combinations.
➙I was commended by General Manager and selected as Shell’s “Zero Hero” for providing outstanding safety interventions at a contracting company’s facility and ensuring compliance with Shell’s 12 Life-Saving Rules.
