Lois Broeren was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, and is a proud member of the Buffalo River Dene Nation and part of the wolf clan. She has been married to her partner John for 25 years and is the proud mother of five daughters, each successful in their own way. Raising her family has instilled in Lois a deep sense of responsibility, resilience, and leadership, qualities that guide both her personal life and her professional career. Lois is a detail-oriented and a motivated professional with a strong background in customer service, administrative support, and bookkeeping. With over a decade of experience in client-facing and office-based roles, she has developed proven skills in financial bookkeeping, invoicing, data entry, and daily office operations. Most recently, Lois worked as a Customer Service/Administrative Assistant at CARSTAR/CSN, where she supported both customers and office operations by coordinating scheduling, preparing reports, managing invoices, and reconciling payments; all while improving workflow efficiency and maintaining compliance with insurance and company requirements. Her earlier career includes roles as a cashier, retail associate, and housekeeper, where she consistently demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service. Lois has completed the Office Administrative Program at Yukon University, where she trained in communications, accounting with Sage 50, and the Microsoft Office Suite. She is also skilled in QuickBooks, Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and basic payroll processing.
