May. 2005 - Sep. 20091. To set up a new Business Unit to offer a portfolio of services that included PR, Media Management, Experiential events, conferencing and reputation management. The Unit broke even and went into profit after 9 months of existence.
2. Responsible for new business development, budget, finances, profit margins
3. To quality control and make strategic input on all integrated company campaigns for internal and external clients.
4. Directly manage and edit Avusa corporate electronic newsletter with a subscription list of 12000.
5. Devise strategy related to stakeholder’s relations. 6. Manage Corporate social investment with Varsity College, Business Arts South Africa and other strategic alliances.
7. Manage all Ochre and Avusa Media internal public relationships and media management on CSI projects like The Sunday Times Food Show, The Business Times Marketing Awards, The Cape Book Fair, HIV and Aids CSI programmes.
8. To manage cross functional teams from production, finance, design, PR and account management on major Client campaigns.
