Responsible for developing, executing and evaluating strategic, integrated marketing & communication plans to advance the university’s reputation and support strategic goals by:
• Managing staff and functions of the Office of Communications and its interaction between other offices within the Marketing Division including website development, publications, editorial services, special events, church relations and admissions. • Counseling senior administrators on strategic communications to ensure an integrated approach to marketing. • Managing media relations for the University, handling crisis communications and serving as the University spokesperson. • Executing the institutional advertising campaign both regionally and nationally. • Managing the University’s social media accounts and how they integrate with the institution’s marketing and communication efforts, especially as related to crises. • Maintaining brand identity by managing requests for external logo use and requests from external groups to film on campus.
