• Procurement: following federal regulation processes to solicit and procure services for successful implementation of all programs included in the country portfolio. • Draft micro purchase contracts for expert services, and on and off the shelf goods under the $3500 non-competitive procurement threshold. • Process payments to vendors, and to field offices. • Track overall grant spending, contract payments, field office cash logs and payments to ensure grants remain on budget and in compliance of grant terms and agreements. • Draft quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports as needed for all grants within the country portfolio.
• Engage business development including pitching proposal ideas, drafting solicited and un-solicited proposals and all required attachments including theory of change frameworks, draft budgets, and monitoring and evaluation plans. • Assist in the preparation and execution of pre and post election assessment missions and reports. • Assist in the organization of special events including distinguished delegates, foreign dignitaries, and congressional staff for events related to profile countries. • Travel to profile countries to facilitate implementation of activities and provide staff assistance as needed • Provide translations, briefs, or memos for senior staff as needed. • Draft blogs, tweets, and social media content to promote IRI’s mission and current programming
• Maintain general political, social, and economic contextual awareness of all countries within the country profile.
