It is under my domain to purchase equipment, maintain both hardware and software, manage domains and hosting, restore and generate data, troubleshoot workstations and servers, install equipment, virtual servers for platforms like VM Ware, AWS EC2 instances. Part of my responsibility is to build and maintain databases, Web applications, and Digital Asset Management systems, provide support to customers, create and maintain servers and networks. My role involves: • Update company website content and functionality • Contribute to strategy and continuous improvement of IT system performance • Communicate with 3rd Party IT contractors to resolve issues, update and maintain all company software and hardware including but not limited to PCs, Macs, printers, engravers, servers, access points, switches, networking devices, and cameras • Organize and maintain digital images and files using DAM software • Develop automated media processes • Create and maintain product databases and Picnic Time Knowledge-base • Assist Marketing and Product Development team with surveys and data analysis projects • Assist with training supervisors and team members with new software and documenting processes • Troubleshooting hardware and software as and when required • Ability to work remotely to access virtual server, remote troubleshooting for all any device within the company network • Learn and deploy new technology which would improve company performance • Research and analysis • Management of global teams to meet the goals and deadlines for IT projects • Proposing new ideas to the management of the company • Understanding the priority levels of various projects and meeting deadlines • Administration of DNS, DHCP, Active Directories, Firewalls, Routers and Switches • Ability to diagnose complex networking IT issues and resolve them effectively
