Sep. 2013 - May. 2016Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul AreaI manage all internal operations, process development, and client relations for the four divisions of Better Beer Society. The four divisions include: Better Beer Society University, our consumer education program that consists of 12, 1 hour courses featuring craft beer topics discussed by community movers and shakers. We host both a spring and fall term and over samples of high quality and often very unique craft beers as part of the discussions. Better Beer Society Brand Advocates, our on and off premise sampling team provides local and national craft beer brands with highly educated team members who have charismatic personalities and excellent sales skills. Our team members have all earned their Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone, or are a participant of the Beer Judge Certification Program. We also provide promotional event support and planning services for festivals, beer dinners, trade shows, and corporate events, Better Beer Society Brewer Approved Draft provides draft maintenance and installation services to establishments around the Twin Cities Metro. Our staff are Micromatic Certified and use Brewer's Association recommendations to make sure that craft beer reaches the customer as the brewer intended. Better Beer Society Certified is our establishment audit and training program. We provide craft beer education to the staff at bars, restaurants, tap rooms, and breweries. We have developed a set of standards that we will train staff on and then complete monthly audits to verify that those standards are being met.
