In addition, this role is responsible for implementing processes and initiatives that develop talent to ensure the business can meet their business growth goals. Participate on the HR Leadership Team to set strategy and priorities for HR at Kent including leadership and direction for team members and proactively collaborate with extended HR Management team. Benefits Management:
Design, manage and oversee administration of employee benefits programs.
Develop cost management procedures to balance cost of plans with benefit packages that are congruent with company core values and will attract and retain top talent
Manage relationship between all benefit providers third party administrators, and benefits broker.
Evaluate and benchmark with local, regional and national employers.
Stay current, understand and assure company compliance with provisions of the Affordable Care Act, including changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management Talent Development:
Lead implementation of development processes and initiatives including leadership development, performance management, career paths and career development processes
Work closely with the Manager, Learning & Development to execute on the development processes and initiatives to help develop organizational talent to meet the needs both today and in the future at all companies
Develop processes to embed and continue to reinforce the concepts of business acumen, managing people, coaching and growing leaders at Kent Corporation
Work with Manager, Recruiting & Internal Communications on ways to retain organizational talent to ensure the right talent are in the right roles to meet our goals Identify ways to coach and mentor Managers to develop their teams and individuals that motivates and provides opportunities for talent development
