Communicate to the Ops Manager schedule needs for the store and each Team Member. “Store needs” means how many people at what skill level and Team Member needs means requested time off. With this input, the Operations Manager will create a monthly schedule. Ensure all Team Members have taken the Web Based Training modules required by our Home Office (will receive from Operations Manager) as well as those that provide insight and close the knowledge gaps of our Team Members (based on perception of Center Manager). Ensure proper paperwork is in-store and uploaded to USPS portal for each open mailbox. Ensure all mailbox accounts are renewed before expiration and terminated as appropriate. Ensure all house accounts are accurately billed within 5 days of the end of the month. Keep all Center inventory above minimum thresholds. This includes items needed to process UPS shipments, retail items, corrugated boxes, packaging materials, material needed for printing, binding and laminating. Confirm that all customer orders are processed properly Ensure the Center is always clean and merchandised in a manner that we would pass HQ’s quarterly center visits with 100% in both categories. Process all outstanding claims and communicating with claim customers in an empathetic manner which strengthens their confidence in The UPS Store. Make sure Team Members consistently complete the daily opening, cleaning and closing checklists.
